The Philadelphia Eagles need A.J. Brown to be safe and sound.

He’s one of the best wide receivers in the game, and as such, not having him out there has taken a big toll on their offense.

Fortunately, he might not be looking at any more missed time.

According to Jordan Schultz of Bleacher Report, his knee injury was a minor thing, and he’s expected to be fine.

The 6-2 Eagles had to play the second half of their win over the Jacksonville Jaguars without their star pass-catcher.

He suffered a bruised knee in the first half, leaving the game with a couple of receptions for 36 yards.

Brown has struggled with injuries this season.

He missed plenty of time with a hamstring ailment before finally making his return.

He’s one of the most physical studs in the game, and his ability to keep piling yards after the catch is among the best in the league as well.

With him and DeVonta Smith, Jalen Hurts will always have two big-play threats to sling the football down the field, and having Saquon Barkley wreaking havoc out of the backfield also opens up a lot of lanes for their offense.

The Eagles keep winning, yet it still feels like they’re leaving something to be desired, and they haven’t been as dominant as they could be with that roster.

Even so, at the end of the day, all that matters is that they keep finding ways to get the job done, with or without style points.
