Opening odds for the battle of Texas.
The Houston Texans were close to having one of their best wins in franchise history on Sunday night, instead they had one of the worst.
It felt like the team had a different energy on both sides of the ball throughout the first half, but as the second half came along, that energy slowed down, specifically on offense, which led to a last-second field goal loss.
The Texans are looking to turn the page against the depleted Cowboys in Dallas.
As you can see from the opening odds, most expect the Texans to beat the Cowboys by a wide margin, and they should, especially with the highly anticipated return of wide receiver Nico Collins.
The Texans offense has been stuck all season long, but it is much better with Collins in the lineup, so it is safe to say that they will look much better with his presence on the field.
Dallas has also struggled immensely on offense, even with quarterback Dak Prescott on the field. Prescott will not be playing in this game, and will likely not play again in 2024, therefore this has potential to be a low-scoring game.
I would heavily consider slamming the under 42.5 in this game.
