The Denver Broncos success in 2024 has been powered by an outstanding defense. Will that continue this week against the Baltimore Ravens?
It’s no secret the Denver Broncos defense has been dominate to the start the season. Whatever Vance Joseph cooked up after getting dunked on with that 70-burger by the Miami Dolphins, it has been working.
Even Pro Football Focus, who is notoriously inconsistent with their grading system, has these Broncos as their third highest-graded defense. That is after some seriously questionable grades for Zach Allen and Pat Surtain this year, so perhaps they are even better than PFF has them.
The Baltimore Ravens are the NFL’s number one offense in so many categories, so this will literally be their biggest test since facing that red-hot Dolphins team in September of last season. If the defense does its job and limits the damage, then Bo Nix and the Broncos offense should be able to keep up. That Ravens defense is not as good as it used to be.
