Note that in the Point Spread contest, the FAVORITE is denoted with a minus sign (-) while the UNDERDOG is denoted with a plus sign (+).
I’ll publish the list of entrants with the highest scores after the conclusion of this week’s slate of games.
Point Spread
We had 32 entries in the Point Spread contest (down from 37 entries last week). The Point Spread contest ended in a 2-way tie between HK2000 and Kraftymike, each of whom correctly predicted the outcome of 11 point-adjusted games out of 16 played. Hot on their heels was Los Redskins with 10 correct predictions. Nine other entrants correctly prognosticated 9 outcomes in this week’s Point Spread contest.
Pick’em
There were 46 entrants in this weeks Pick’em contest, down from last week’s total of 54. Normally, if we have a tie, it is in the Pick’em contest, where entrants pick the actual winners of games played without any point adjustments, but this week, while 13 entrants tied for second-place, Cartesian Theater stood alone at the top with 13 correct predictions (out of 16 games). The two key predictions that seemed to separate him from the pack were the Eagles and the 49ers. Most of those in a tie for 2nd place picked one or the other of those winners, but not both.
