Note that in the Point Spread contest, the FAVORITE is denoted with a minus sign (-) while the UNDERDOG is denoted with a plus sign (+).
I’ll publish the list of entrants with the highest scores after the conclusion of this week’s slate of games.
Before unveiling the Week 9 winners, here is a list of all the winners for the month of October, comprising Weeks 5 to 8:
Pick’em
There were 60 entrants in this weeks Pick’em contest, up quite a bit from last week’s total of 46. This week, two entrants tied by correctly predicting the outcomes of 14 out of 15 games. Mike Neugent (Texans) and Winding Way Warriors (Saints) each missed on only one prediction, while 5 other entrants were just one point behind, having correctly forecast 13 correct outcomes. Another 17 entrants tallied 12 correct predictions each.
Point Spread
We had 36 entries in the Point Spread contest (up from 32 entries last week). One entrant — TradeUpForLS — stood alone at the top of the heap when the smoke had cleared, having correctly accounted for the point spread in 13 of 15 games, missing only by picking the favored Bills and underdog Broncos. Right behind were Winding Way Warriors (co-winner in the Pick’em contest) and tflo007, each with 12 correct predictions. Another 4 entrants made 11 correct predictions, and 6 more hit on 10 of the 15 games.
Congratulations to all on another great week of predictions. Don’t forget to click the links above and get your entries in for this week; it costs nothing to...
