Here are all of the details for the Denver Broncos Week 9 matchup against the Baltimore Ravens.
This is easily the biggest test for the Denver Broncos this season. Defensively, they will take one of the NFL’s best units up against the NFL’s best offense led by Lamar Jackson. The Baltimore Ravens have a dominating run game and a passing attack that feeds off that. We won’t see the Broncos defense face a tougher opponent this season.
For Bo Nix and the Broncos offense, they should be able to match up well against a Ravens defense that hasn’t been all that good this season. The problem with that, however, is that the Broncos offense hasn’t been all that good either. That inconsistency is surely a cause for concern heading into this critical AFC road game.
My prediction: Ravens 24, Broncos 19. My distrust of the Broncos offense inconsistency is the main reason why I have them potentially losing this game. While they have blowout wins in three of their last four games, they also have a 3.5 quarter scoreless home game against the Los Angeles Chargers in there. They cannot afford to fall behind early in this game or the Ravens could run away with it quickly. What I hope for here is a close, contested game that is decided late.
