Giants vs. Buccaneers: 3 best prop bets for Week 12

The New York Giants (2-8) host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-6) at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey on Sunday afternoon.

The Bucs are favored by six points and the over/under is 41.5 total points. The moneyline is currently Bucs -275, Giants +225.

There’s some money to be made in this game as both teams have some explosive players and there are several prop bets to focus on.

Here are our top three prop nets for your consideration for the game, per BetMGM.

Moneyline and both teams to score 20+ points — Buccaneers and Yes (+325)

The Giants have not allowed more than 28 points in a game this season but are allowing 22 per game. The Bucs, however, are averaging 27.9 points per game. We don’t expect the Giants to hold them under 20 points here. On the flip side, Tampa Bay has allowed 31.3 points per game during their current four-game losing streak. The Giants don’t have Daniel Jones any longer to misfire in the red zone, so they should score more points this week.

Baker Mayfield UNDER 234.5 passing yards (-115)

The Giants are allowing the fifth-fewest passing yards per game (184.2) in the NFL this season. You can credit their pass rush for some of that as they lead the league in sacks through 11 weeks. Another reason is that they’ve been so easy to run against, especially when nose tackle Dexter Lawrence comes off the field. One more thing: the weather is finally turning here and it will be blustery on Sunday at MetLife.

Alternate rushing yards, OVER 75 — Bucky Irving (+240) OR Rachaad White (+425)

Once the Bucs realize the Giants can’t stop the run and the wind is making throwing the ball hell, they’ll turn to their young running backs to drive the ball. The only question will be which one they’ll ride in this game. Irving seems to be the better bet here as he can rip off longer gains.
