“I’m not thinking about it at all, for real,” Ojulari told The Post. “I’m just all-in on this game right now, and whatever happens, happens. I’m not stressing it...When you’re out there, you gotta play 100 percent. You can’t be thinking about [injuries] because that’s gonna mess up your game. So that was something you gotta get over, too, and I feel like I’ve been solid this year.”
Giants storyline to watch: Giants rookie wide receiver Malik Nabers is looking to bounce back from a game in which he had two key drops in Pittsburgh. He’s especially motivated against a Washington team that couldn’t stop him in the first meeting. Nabers had 10 catches for 127 yards and a touchdown in that matchup. He’s itching for another big game after two pedestrian performances coming off a concussion.
The problem for the Giants defense has been explosive plays on the ground. They have allowed 10 carries of 20-plus yards, tied for second-most in the league. They’ve surrendered 27 rushes of 12-plus yards, tied for the most in the league. The Commanders offense is tied for second with 10 runs of 20-plus yards.
“We just got to continue to eliminate the explosives,” Bowen said. “Those are what’s killing us right now. We’re giving up those four to five to six runs a game that are chunk plays that we got to do a good job of working to eliminate.”
The biggest difference has been Jones’s mobility. While Jones has obviously been cleared to return after suffering a torn ACL last year, his lack of willingness to move around in the pocket when the pressure is coming his way is a growing concern that leaves one to wonder if...
