Cutler was booked for DUI among other charges.
According to various media outlets, former Miami Dolphins quarterback Jay Cutler was arrested Thursday night in Tennessee for drunken driving and possession of a firearm.
The 41-year-old faces four charges, including driving under the influence, possession of a firearm while intoxicated, failure to exercise due care and implied consent.
According to jail records, Cutler was in custody for roughly three hours from just before 7:00 p.m. until right around 10:00 p.m.
The former first round pick of the Denver Broncos in 2006 joined the Miami Dolphins ahead of the 2017 NFL season. He played in 14 games for the South Florida franchise, throwing for 19 touchdowns and 14 interceptions.
Cutler is best known for his time with the Chicago Bears where he became the franchise's all-time leader in passing yards and passing touchdowns.
