Denver Broncos fans would prefer the team to trade Baron Browning over Jonathon Cooper if one of the two were to be traded away before the NFL trade deadline.
With the reports going out that the Denver Broncos might be considering trading away either Baron Browning or Jonathon Cooper, I decided to run the survey this week on seeing which of the two we’d prefer see moved.
The results show that fans would prefer to return Cooper over Browning by a wide margin.
Interestingly, both players were drafted by the Broncos: Browning in the third and Cooper in the seventh. It took Cooper a little longer to emerge as Browning was definitely seeing a lot more action earlier in his career. Despite being a year old, Cooper has been able to stay healthy more often as of late. That could be the biggest factor at play with these survey results.
As for overall confidence in the direction of the team, we have reached a new high for the season. 96% is the biggest number we’ve posted so far, but the real test begins over the next two weeks against the Baltimore Ravens and Kansas City Chiefs — both on the road.
If Denver can begin to prove they can hang with the AFC heavyweights, then I think we should start to see the national narrative around this franchise shift significantly in the second half of the season. I’m both excited and anxious to see how these next two weeks go for the Broncos.
