Atlanta looks to take down an NFC East foe at home.

The Falcons (5-3) have opened as favorites over the Cowboys (3-4) ahead of Sunday’s contest at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, per FanDuel Sportsbook. Opening as 1.5-point favorites, the line has already moved one point in the Falcons’ favor, where they currently sit at -2.5 points.

Atlanta continued its divisional dominance in Week 8, shutting the door on a Tampa Bay comeback effort to seal a 31-26 win. It was the Falcons’ fourth win in the NFC South, and vaulted Atlanta to the top of the standings. Kirk Cousins had another masterful outing against the Bucs, completing 23 of 29 passes for 279 yards and four touchdowns.

Cousins also flexed his muscles in the ground game, converting a couple of third-down conversions with his legs.

The Falcons should be able to keep that offensive output humming against the Cowboys, a defense that ranks dead last in the league in average yardage per attempt at 8.2.

Dallas dropped their Sunday Night Football contest to the 49ers, running their losing streak to two games. Quarterback Dak Prescott threw two interceptions in the tilt to go along with a pair of touchdowns.

Atlanta is 11-19 all-time against Dallas, with the Falcons dropping the last three meetings.
