The ex-Patriots and ex-Colts in the fold for Sunday at Gillette Stadium.

A long line of former New England Patriots reside in the fold for the Indianapolis Colts.

But the connections flow both directions between the active rosters, practice squads and reserve lists entering Week 13.

Here’s a glance through the past and present names ahead of Sunday’s 1 p.m. ET kickoff at Gillette Stadium.

INDIANAPOLIS

Laquon Treadwell, wide receiver — After spending training camp with the Colts, the 29-year-old Treadwell signed to the practice squad at its formation and served as a standard elevation in November. Indianapolis marks his eighth stop since landing at pick No. 23 overall in the 2016 NFL draft. Count Foxborough among the previous. The Ole Miss product spent the initial month of the 2022 campaign on the Patriots’ practice squad before being released. His career has spanned 82 games, including 24 starts out wide, as well as 111 receptions for 1,242 yards with five touchdowns.

Atonio Mafi, guard — Mafi got the call from New England in the fifth round of the 2023 draft at No. 144 overall. The converted defensive lineman out of UCLA went on to appear in all 17 games during his rookie season. A handful of starts were accrued on the interior, as he saw 459 snaps on offense and 50 snaps on special teams. Reps at center then came in training camp before the NFL sophomore was placed on waivers at the 53-man roster deadline in August. An opportunity on the Indianapolis practice squad arrived soon after for the 24-year-old, who has served as a standard elevation for back-to-back November matchups.

Trysten Hill, defensive tackle — Indianapolis signed Hill to the practice squad in November after he had been released from New England’s in October. The 26-year-old vested veteran made the initial 53-man roster out of the preseason before twice serving as a standard elevation in September. A Central Florida product, Hill entered the NFL with the Dallas Cowboys in the second round of the 2019 draft at No. 58 overall. He joined the practice squad in Foxborough last fall following a workout and made one appearance en route to a futures contract. Through 34 games, including five starts, Hill’s career has brought 39 tackles and 1.5 sacks.

Cameron McGrone, linebacker — The Patriots called McGrone’s number in the fifth round of the 2021 NFL draft at No. 177 overall. And with a redshirt on the horizon after the former Michigan Wolverine suffered his second torn ACL the previous fall. The rookie season started and finished on the non-football injury list despite having his 21-day practice window open. And after clearing waivers in 2022, McGrone agreed to remain as part of the practice squad. He then agreed to depart for a spot on the 53-man roster in Indianapolis that December. The 24-year-old linebacker has since appeared in 18 games for the Colts, notching seven tackles across 251 snaps on special teams.
