Campbell would be the Saints third first-round tackle in four years.

ESPN insider Field Yates released his preseason first-round mock draft for 2025. In this mock, Yates has the New Orleans Saints selecting LSU offensive tackle Will Campbell with the 10th overall pick. This would be the first time the Saints have selected a player out of LSU since 2018, when they selected offensive lineman Will Clapp.

Campbell is 6’6, 324 pounds, and would be just 21 when drafted. The big lineman is already projected as a possible top five pick with some mocks having him go in the top three.

New Orleans drafted tackle Taliese Fuaga with the 14th overall pick in the 2024 draft, but question marks around their 2022 first-round pick Trevor Penning could cause the team to draft a third tackle in four years. The Saints have lost veterans Ryan Ramcyzk, Andrus Peat, and James Hurst from their line in just the 2024 off-seasons and are looking to rebuild it.

Campbell has only allowed two sacks in his 1,687 snaps with just 6 penalties. On top of his impressive pass-blocking stats, Campbell is an excellent run blocker with his pro comparison being Saints left tackle Taliese Fuaga. His discipline, great size, quick feet, and solid hand placement will make him a top offensive line prospect and a great addition to the Saints, if they fall enough to have a top pick.
