The Denver Broncos were back on the field on Thursday for practice as they continue to prepare for Sunday’s matchup against the Atlanta Falcons. Thursday’s practice saw nearly every player practice fully as the team continued their trend toward full health.

Denver Broncos safety Brandon Jones limited on Thursday

Every player on the Denver Broncos active roster was accounted for on Thursday for the second consecutive day. This time around, they saw full participation across the board from all but one player who was on the injury report to start the week.

Safety Brandon Jones (abdomen) was the only player who was limited on Wednesday, and also limited on Thursday.

Defensive end Zach Allen (elbow, rest) upgraded to full participation. Outside linebacker Drew Sanders (Achilles), safety Delarrin Turner-Yell (knee), wide receiver Josh Reynolds, and safety P.J. Locke (thumb) were full participants on Wednesday and continued that trend on Thursday.

From a roster construction standpoint, the 21-day window on Turner-Yell expires this week, and the team will need to make a decision on promoting him to the 53-man roster, or else he’ll remain on IR for the rest of the season. Sanders’ window moves into its second week, and Denver still has time before having to decide on him. Reynolds’ window officially opened yesterday, and there is still time remaining before they have to decide, but all signs point to him returning on Sunday against the Falcons.

If Reynolds returns, the biggest question coming from his activation will be how his reintroduction into the lineup at wide receiver will impact the rotation, considering the development we’ve seen from rookies Devaughn Vele and Troy Franklin. Will there be six active receivers on Sunday?
