The Dallas Cowboys are just about to begin adding draft picks to their 2024 roster. After a very slow start to the offseason that included keeping Mike McCarthy, losing Dan Quinn, adding Mike Zimmer, losing multiple free agent starters like Tyron Smith and Tony Pollard, while only adding Erick Kendricks as a starter, the organization has work to do.

That work begins with the 2024 NFL Draft and the Cowboys currently hold seven picks in the draft. Below are the Cowboys picks unless they get involved in trading up or down.

  • Round 1, pick 29 - OT Tyler Guyton, Oklahoma
  • Round 2, pick 56 - DE Marshawn Kneeland, Western Michigan
  • Round 3. pick 73 - G/C Cooper Beebe. Kansas State
  • Round 3, pick 87 - LB Marist Liufau, Notre Dame
  • Round 5, pick 174 - CB Caelen Carson (Wake Forest)
  • Round 6, pick 216 - WR Ryan Flournoy (Southeast Missouri State)
  • Round 7, pick 233 - OT Nathan Thomas (Louisiana-Lafayette)
  • Round 7, pick 244 - DT Justin Rogers (Auburn)

The Cowboys are also short on running backs and linebackers. Cases can be made for other spots too, we’ll just have to see how it plays out.

We’ll track all the picks here through the three days of the draft. If you want to view some odds around the draft, check out DraftKings Sportsbook.

Pick 29 - The Cowboys went with offensive tackle Tyler Guyton in the first round after trading down to pick 29 and picking up a third-round pick from the Detroit Lions. Guyton is a guy with athletic traits to be a Pro Bowler, but needs to get some consistency and some technique refinements. Coaching will be a key.

Pick 56 - Dallas went with a defensive end, Marshawn Kneeland, out of Western Michigan. It felt like the Cowboys would hit OL, LB or RB at this pick, but instead they go for a defensive lineman. With Dorance Armstrong and Dante Fowler leaving, the Cowboys did need another body there and he has great athletic traits.

Pick 73 - The Cowboys turned the pick they got in their trade down from the first round into iOL Cooper Beebe. This is viewed as a great value pick as well as the Cowboys’ possible answer at center. Beebe has the quality to start as a guard, but Dallas will put him in the competition for center. If he can make the transition it will be a great pick.

Pick 87 - With their other pick in the third round the Cowboys filled a need at linebacker. Marist Liufau out of Notre Dame is the newest Cowboy and will have...
