Russell Wilson threw a strike on his first pitch for the Pirates-Red Sox game on Friday night. Before deciding to purse a professional football career, Wilson got drafted by the Baltimore Orioles in the 41st round of the 2007 MLB June Amateur Draft from Collegiate high school (Richmond, VA) and the Colorado Rockies in the fourth round of the 2010 MLB June Amateur Draft from North Carolina State University.
