On Sunday, Pitt offered 2026 three-star cornerback Jay Timmons from Pine-Richland, the son of former Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Lawrence Timmons.

Timmons (5-11, 175lbs) is in the midst of a breakout junior season and holds offers from Akron, Eastern Michigan, Temple, Toledo and WVU.

Timmons had a standout performance in Pine-Richland’s 20-9 win over Peters Township in the WPIAL Class-5A Championship Game at Acrisure Stadium on Saturday night.

“It feels amazing. To be on this field, the same field my dad made his plays on,” Timmons told PA Today.
