Cowboys fans had a ton of thoughts throughout Sunday’s win.
It’s the final game before Thanksgiving and Dallas stepped into Washington hoping to build momentum and break the losing streak. The streak was broken but in the most unlikeliest of ways. Here’s what social media had to say.
Things started off with salt getting rubbed in the wound.
The Cowboys first drive gets down inside the five, then go for the field goal and gets blocked.
Washington score first with a field goal.
The next Cowboys drive looks good, Brandon Aubrey comes out for the field goal and misses by hitting the upright.
Washington rolls downfield. That drive ends in a missed goal.
Next possession, Rico Dowdle loses the ball after getting it ripped out.
When it rains, it pours. Cooper Beebe helps the Cowboys get to fourth and 22 after a poor snap.
Washington then blocks a Bryan Anger punt.
Chauncey Golston makes the interception.
Aubrey gets back on form and levels the score at halftime.
Washington comes out in the second half and scores a touchdown. Extra point is no good.
Cowboys come back and Cooper Rush makes a strike in the endzone to Jalen Tolbert.
Josh Butler had a big day at cornerback.
Cowboys got momentum again but had a big play wiped out. That led to Aubrey pushing the advantage up.
Then the Cowboys defense comes up huge on the turnover!
Out of nowhere, Rush throws the tuddy to Luke Schoonmaker.
