Brian Robinson, David Njoku being active would be helpful to both in Week 5
The Cleveland Browns and Washington Commanders face off in an interesting Week 5 matchup on Sunday. For most, the Browns and Commanders have the opposite records of what was expected with the visitors from Cleveland on the verge of losing their season.
Given the 1-3 record, we’ve started looking at the Browns being sellers at the NFL trade deadline and even a full NFL Mock Draft for the team.
There are still a ton of games to be played including this weekend where both teams have injury concerns to key offensive players, Brian Robinson and David Njoku especially.
Sunday, Cleveland made a few roster moves and elevations with one adding concern for Njoku’s availability.
Saturday night we learned that Robinson would be playing despite missing all practices this week:
The Commanders also activated backup QB Marcus Mariota from the injured reserve list on Saturday.
Late last night came word that Njoku, along with Jed Wills, will be available Sunday as well:
The big remaining name on the questionable list is OL Jack Conklin. We will likely have to wait until the inactive lists come out around 11:30 AM for his status.
How do you think the return of Njoku and Wills will impact Cleveland’s offense? If Conklin is also active, who do you think should start at left and right tackle today?
