Will Nick Chubb’s return during the week move the line?
The Cleveland Browns opened as 4.5-point home underdogs against the Cincinnati Bengals ahead of their Week 7 match-up, according to FanDuel Sportsbook. The over/under on the game is currently 44.5.
The Browns (1-5) are coming off of a 20-16 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. For much of the game, both teams had moments where they shot themselves in the foot, and Cleveland’s offensive struggles continued as they didn’t even manage a single offensive touchdown. The reason the Browns stayed in the game until the fourth quarter was because DE Myles Garrett jumped over the line before halftime and blocked a field goal, which S Rodney McLeod returned for a touchdown. QB Deshaun Watson will remain the team’s starting quarterback despite all of his struggles.
The Bengals (2-4) are coming off of an ugly 17-7 victory over the New York Giants. Cincinnati’s defense has been torched all season, but they nearly pitched a shutout against the Giants. Cincinnati has had a tough time beating the Browns for years under the era of QB Joe Burrow, though, so could they be the recipe for curing Cleveland’s offensive woes? The Browns also expect to have RB Nick Chubb return in some capacity for this week’s game.
The over/under for the game is 44.5.
