Sunday was not a good day for the Houston Texans, to say the least. CJ Stroud and company lost a game to the Titans they never should’ve lost, making some awful mistakes along the way.

It’s hard to pick out what mistake was the worst mistake the Texans made. But, CJ Stroud had one that certainly is going to live in infamy for a long time.

Stroud went through a rough few weeks during October and early November with the offense hurt by injuries. But, top target Nico Collins is back, and, at least statistically, he’s been playing better.

That being said, the second-year quarterback simply cannot make mistakes like this. Take a look.

I get that he was under pressure. But, you’ve got to know where you are on the field, CJ! you have to know that you can’t move backwards there at all. Unfortunately, the pass rush got to him, and he instinctually flushed from the pocket.

He wouldn’t have been in that position had kicker Kai Fairbairn not missed this chip shot field goal.

Still, CJ Stroud is now being compared to Dan Orlovsky, and you never want to be compared to Dan Orlovsky.

Now, Stroud and Orlovsky will always be linked together.
