Check back later for the Broncos’ official injury report.
Some notes
- The Chiefs listed nine players on their report, including wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster (hamstring) and defensive tackle Turk Wharton (knee), who did not practice the first two days of the week.
- While wide receiver Mecole Hardman (shoulder/knee) remained limited, running back Kareem Hunt (quad) and defensive end George Karlaftis (abdomen) were upgraded to full participants after beginning the week limited. Hunt has been listed on the report referencing his “quad” for two straight weeks.
- Quarterback Patrick Mahomes (ankle) was once again listed on the report due to his ankle injury, but it’s a good sign that he was listed as a full participant in both practices to start the week. Both Mahomes and head coach Andy Reid spoke about his ankle injury during their Wednesday podium sessions, and we covered what they said here.
- Defensive end Mike Danna (pectoral) has missed the team’s last three games due to his pec strain and has now logged two full practice participations to begin the week. Cornerback Nazeeh Johnson (concussion) also remained a full participant, which is a good sign for his return.
- Defensive tackle Derrick Nnadi (triceps) has been listed on the injury report since the start of the season.
