Kansas City and Buffalo have released their inactive player lists for Sunday’s game.

The Kansas City Chiefs have released their inactive players list for Sunday’s game against the Buffalo Bills. Offensive tackle Kingsley Suamataia, offensive lineman C.J. Hanson, running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire, defensive tackle Marlon Tuipulotu and defensive end Cameron Thomas will all be inactive. But as expected, wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster will be active for the first time since the Week 7 game

This means that undrafted rookie offensive tackle Ethan Driskell will be backing up left tackle Wanya Morris instead of Suamataia, who was the team’s second-round pick. It is the first time Driskell has been active for a game — and the first time Suamataia has been inactive.

Running back Isiah Pacheco and defensive end Charles Omenihu were both limited participants in this week’s practice after being designated to return from Reserve/Injured and Reserve/PUP (physically-unable-to-perform) respectively. They were declared out for this game — but since they have not yet been activated back to the 53-man roster, they are not shown on the inactive list for Sunday’s game.

For the first time since Week 2, none of the team’s other rostered players were given injury designations for this game. Therefore, all five of the Chiefs’ inactive players should be considered healthy scratches.

On Sunday, Kansas City elevated practice squad linebacker (and special teams player) Cole Christiansen to the active roster. As an elevated player, he will automatically be returned to the team’s practice squad after the game. He will dress for the contest.

The Bills have also released their list of inactives. As we anticipated, tight end Dalton Kincaid (knee) and wide receiver Keon Coleman (wrist) will miss Sunday’s game. So will right tackle Spencer Brown (ankle). But wide receiver Amari Cooper (wrist) will suit up against Kansas City.

Both Kincaid and Coleman were listed as out in Friday’s injury report. So was linebacker Matt Milano. (Like the Chiefs’ Pacheco and Omenhiu, he practiced with the team this week after being designated to return from Reserve/Injured). Brown and Cooper were both listed as questionable for Sunday’s game.

Buffalo has elevated tight end Zach Davidson and tackle Richard Gouraige from its practice squad for the matchup. Both will dress for Sunday’s game.
