The Eberflus glow-up would be complete if he could lead his team to the postseason and win the 2024 Coach of the Year award.

In his first year coaching the Chicago Bears, Matt Eberflus’ squad was (3-14) while the franchise began a massive rebuild. Last year’s roster was better, and the Bears improved to (7-10), but there were some questions about Eberflus’ in-game decision-making following each of their three blown double-digit fourth-quarter leads.

But heading into year three, our partners at DraftKings SportsBook have Eberflus as one of the favorites to win the 2024 Coach of the Year at +900. Also at +900 is the Chargers’ Jim Harbaugh, with the Jets’ Robert Salah and Houston’s Demeco Ryans next at +1100.

Flus’ defense looks primed to continue ascending into a top-ten unit, and the offense has had a complete makeover or par with the personal glow-up he experienced.

Newcomers Keenan Allen, D’Andre Swift, Gerald Everett, Rome Odunze, and Caleb Williams figure to be utilized to their fullest by new offensive coordinator Shane Waldron.

The offensive improvements, coupled with the already solid defense, have many predicting a postseason appearance for the Bears, and if that happens, Eberflus would certainly be in the running for coach of the year.
