Chargers-Titans Thursday Injury Report: Trey Pipkins, Khalil Mack sit out

Khalil Mack was seen working off to the side during Thursday’s practice while Trey Pipkins was downgraded from limited to DNP.

Thursday’s injury report for the Chargers grew by two names, increasing from eight to 1- players. The two players added were running back J.K. Dobbins (rest) and punter J.K. Scott (ankle). Dobbins had a full rest day while Scott was limited.

Cornerback Ja’Sir Taylor (fibula) was upgraded to limited today after sitting out Wednesday’s practice. A player who went in the opposite direction was offensive guard Trey Pipkins who went from limited yesterday to DNP on today with an ankle injury.

The two other players who sat out Thursday were cornerback Kristian Fulton (hamstring) and edge rusher Khalil Mack (groin). Mack was seen working off the the side so there’s a chance the Chargers are being very cautious with him this week.

The remaining three players on the report — all limited — were edge rusher Joey Bosa (hip), running back Gus Edwards (ankle), and tight end Stone Smartt. Edwards has still yet to be activated off of injured reserve.
