Bolts From The Blue
The Chargers’ best defender will be active after logging zero practice time through the week.
The Chargers will be without starting right guard Trey Pipkins (ankle) this week as the veteran is one of seven players list among the team’s inactives against the Titans. In his place, expect either Jamaree Salyer or Sam Mustipher to earn the start.
On defense, the Bolts will also be without Kristian Fulton who will miss another week with a lingering hamstring injury. Rookies Tarheeb Still and Cam Hart will once against start at outside cornerback with Ja’Sir Taylor getting the nod at nickel.
The other players who will be inactive this week for the Chargers are tight end Stone Smartt (ankle), running back Kimani Vidal, defensive lineman Justin Eboigbe, offensive lineman Jordan McFadden, and quarterback Easton Stick (emergency third quarterback).
Kimani Vidal’s status this week comes as no surprise as the team welcomed back Gus Edwards from injured reserve and it looks as if he’ll return to his role as RB2 for the Chargers.
