Chargers fans hope Justin Herbert will continue to utilize his legs going forward.
We almost did it, everyone. We almost had 100 percent of SB Nation Reacts participants say that they were confident in the direction of the Chargers. But alas, there was probably just that ONE person who can’t help themselves from pessimistic.
What a bummer.
Anyhoo, we had two other additional questions in this weeks Reacts poll so let’s go ahead and take a look at the results for those.
First up, following Justin Herbert’s latest performance against the Titans where he supplemented the offense consistently with his scrambling ability, I asked you all if you’d like to see more of that production going forward from No. 10.
With 75 percent of the vote, the majority of those surveyed said they do want Herbert to use his legs more going forward. Truly, I believe Herbert could push for 400+ rushing yards each season if he wanted to really lean into that part of his repertoire, but I think it all comes down to not wanting to dangle his health in front of opposing teams any more than the Chargers have to on a weekly basis.
Lastly, now that over half the season has come and gone, I wanted to hear what position you believe should be the Chargers’ biggest priority in the first round of next year’s draft. With 48 percent of the vote, those surveyed picked interior offensive lineman. Tight end came in second with 26 percent of the vote whole wide receiver and defensive tackle followed with 8 percent and eight percent, respectively.
