Good morning, Chargers fans!

After another strong performance by Justin Herbert where he threw for multiple touchdowns and zero interceptions, Los Angeles’ QB1 has vaulted himself back into the top five of CBS Sports’ quarterback power rankings.

“The Chargers are quietly contenders thanks largely to Jim Harbaugh’s more grounded attack, but Herbert is rediscovering elite form in the process, showcasing his laser arm while controlling the ball,” says analyst Cody Benjamin. “He’s now up to 13 touchdowns and just one pick, fresh off a tight prime-time win.”

Herbert has not been filling up the stat sheet when it comes to yards and touchdowns this season, but that also goes for the interceptions column where he refuses to add anything at all.

That’s been the recipe for success with the Bolts. There’s not need to light up the scoreboard with good, clean football being played on both sides of the ball each week.
