Khalil Mack and Hayden Hurst were the only two Chargers to sit out Wednesday’s practice.
The Chargers came away from their win over the Titans fairly unscathed. No player left the game early due to an injury and that’s always a big win just ahead of a pivotal game in the season.
On the first injury report of the week for the Chargers, nine players are listed. Seven of them carry limited tags while the other two were DNP. Wednesday’s absent players were edge rusher Khalil Mack (groin) and tight end Hayden Hurst (not injury related). Mack played just four snaps on Sunday against Tennessee but it was not reportedly due to anything getting worse as far as his injury goes.
The seven limited players were Joey Bosa (hip), Gus Edwards (ankle), Kristian Fulton (hamstring), Daiyan Henley (illness), Deane Leonard (hamstring), Trey Pipkins (ankle), and Stone Smartt (ankle).
When asked by the media after practice about whether or not he expects to play against the Bengals this week, Fulton responded with “Yes sir.” As of now, it looks like the former LSU Tiger will make his return against two of his former teammates in Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase.
