After failing to log any practice time this week, Khalil Mack is officially inactive for Sunday Night Football.
The Chargers have released their inactives list for tonight’s game against the Bengals and it looks like they’ll have to go to battle without their best defensive player.
Per the Chargers, edge rusher Khalil Mack will this edition of Sunday Night Football as he continues to rehab a groin injury that he sustained two weeks ago against the Browns.
Mack is joined on the inactives list by quarterback Easton Stick (emergency third QB), wide receiver D.J. Chark, running back Kimani Vidal, offensive guards Brenden Jaimes and Jordan McFadden, and tight end Hayden Hurst.
Chark is a healthy scratch this week in a not-so surprising move if you recall some of Jim Harbaugh’s comments earlier in the week. The veteran free-agent signing essentially missed too much time to begin the season and Justin Herbert now has a chemistry with every other receiver that the coaching staff does not wish to mess with.
