Buffalo Bills rooting interests: How the team can jump 2 places in Week 8

With all the right wins, the Bills could move into second in the AFC.

The Buffalo Bills are the top team in the AFC East. Week 7 only solidified that as Buffalo was the only team to grab another victory. With the gap widening between the Bills and their divisional opponents, it’s the rest of the top seven teams in the AFC that we need to focus on.

Unfortunately, Buffalo lost to the number-two and three teams in the AFC and ending the season in a tie with either of them will not be beneficial for their conference standings. Because of that, while rooting for any of the top three AFC teams to lose is an obvious choice, focusing on the teams that are in the top seven that the Bills don’t play this season is a priority if we want to start figuring out playoff seeding.

Here’s a look at the current AFC standings as we enter Week 8
