Dion Dawkins has never played against the Seahawks in Seattle
Although Buffalo Bills left tackle Dion Dawkins has been in the NFL since 2017, there is one thing he has never done before: play at Lumen Field in Seattle. Home of the NFC’s Seattle Seahawks, their stadium is known for being extremely loud and rowdy, thanks to their fans, whom they lovingly refer to as the “12th man.” The only field that has topped the noise there by decibel level is Kansas City’s Arrowhead Stadium.
WGRZ sports reporter Jonathan Acosta recently asked Dawkins about his feelings on playing in Seattle.
“Yeah, I am VERY excited,” Dawkins stated with a smile. “I’ve been watching videos of what the stadium is like in the day time and I’ve learned that, you know, Seattle is similar to Buffalo with like that gray cloud that hovers over it. So I’m gonna try to adapt, bring in a little bit of Buffalo to Seattle. But I am excited to go. We get to see some old faces like, you know, T Dot (referring to former Bills linebacker Tyrel Dodson) is over there, so I’m excited to play and see him. They say that uh, Seattle’s like surrounded by like a lake and ocean, right? So it’s like a little strip which is pretty cool and they say that the traffic is bad but I’m excited to get over to Seattle, taste some food and play some good ball.”
The Bills have a chance to win their third game in a row and move to 6-2 on the season on Sunday afternoon.
