Otherwise, they are healthy and good-to-go for Sunday.
Here is your Week 11 injury wrap-up as the Cleveland Browns take on the New Orleans Saints this Sunday.
Biggest Injury Storylines
- Coming off the bye, the Browns were as healthy as they’ve been for most of the season.
- Of course, that comes with the asterisk that they are without one of their defensive stars, LB Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, who is on injured reserve still. On the positive end of things for linebackers, though, veteran LB Jordan Hicks, who has been banged up for much of the season, has been a full participant in practice and will return to action.
- There were two surprises this week, with the first coming on Thursday when DT Mike Hall suffered a knee injury. He is likely headed to injured reserve. With Hall out and DE Za’Darius Smith traded, the Browns signed DL Sam Kamara and DE Elerson Smith to the active roster.
- Despite being a full participant in practice, on Saturday, Cleveland ruled OT Jedrick Wills out. Let’s call it a business decision.
- The Saints will be without starting OL Lucas Patrick, and backup RB Jamaal Williams. Six players are questionable for them, but most of them should play. The biggest question mark (and most important one) is LB Pete Werner, who didn’t practice on Wednesday or Thursday, but was limited on Friday with a hand injury.
Betting Odds Impact
According to FanDuel Sportsbook, the Browns are 1.5 point underdogs against the Saints. That line stayed steady all week, so there was no injury impact on the odds.
Fantasy Implications
- With Cleveland being pretty healthy after the bye, there aren’t any fantasy notes to talk about with respect to Browns’ injuries or players returning.
