Keaton Mitchell, Wyatt teller designated for return before Browns, Ravens game
Between the Cleveland Browns loss to the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 7 and their next AFC North matchup, Week 8 against the Baltimore Ravens, a lot has changed. Deshaun Watson is out for the season with an Achilles injury. Jameis Winston is the new starting quarterback despite being the emergency third QB last week. HC Kevin Stefanski is no longer calling plays on offense, Ken Dorsey is.
The roster turnover also hasn’t stopped with five moves made on Tuesday.
Before Wednesday’s practice came news that OL Wyatt Teller was designated for return from injured reserve and could play this week but that RB Nyheim Hines would not be activated which ends his season with the Browns.
The Ravens also got potentially positive news with RB Keaton Mitchell, who had 66 total yards and a touchdown against Cleveland last year, was also designated for return from injured reserve.
The initial injury report for the game between the two teams had 12 players not practicing on Wednesday:
Good news with Conklin able to practice and DTR a full participant on Wednesday.
Some really big names not practicing Wednesday for Baltimore including top receiver Flowers, Jones in the middle of their defense and two starting corners in Humphrey and Wiggins.
We will keep you up to date all week with the daily injury reports.
