Browns’ offensive snap counts, stats, and notes: Week 11 - A lot of yards and few points

Cleveland threw the ball well and didn’t turn it over, but only netted 14 points.
Below, we analyze the snap counts and stats on offense for the Cleveland Browns’ Week 11 game against the New Orleans Saints.
QB: I thought Jameis Winston had a solid performance against one of his former teams, throwing for nearly 400 yards — and most of that didn’t come in any form of garbage time. There were a couple of throws that Winston missed, but he’s performing far better than Deshaun Watson and at least giving these wide receivers a chance to shine. If there’s something it points out, though, it’s the mentality of the offense: the Saints were also a bad run defense, and Cleveland seldom attacked that, despite it being a close game. Additionally, Cleveland only had 14 points. They were hurt by the defense allowing the Saints to consistently pin them back.
RB: I wish the NFL just had more transparency with head coaches. Once again, we had a close game, and Nick Chubb only plays 22 snaps (30%). He looked good in that limited action, but it’s deflating to crave more Chubb, and he’s on the sideline for most of the game.
WR: The receivers all had solid games. Jerry Jeudy had his best statistical game with the Browns and caught an 89-yard touchdown pass, and Elijah Moore made a great sideline catch in the end zone for a touchdown. Cedric Tillman made the most of his targets, and Jamari Thrash got a reception in too. Jeudy was the Browns’ highest-graded player on offense, grading out to a 72.1.
TE: Nine targets and nine catches for David Njoku, plus a two-point conversion. Jordan Akins also made one nice grab, but continues to be limited in the number of reps he receives.
OL: The offensive line continues to block better in recent weeks, but it sucks to see Dawand Jones go down with another season-ending injury. He was one of the pieces you’d hope to evaluate in a lost season.
