Michael Dunn returns from Non-Football Injury list, Alex Wright official to IR
The Cleveland Browns will face off with the Washington Commanders in Week 5 of the NFL season in a must-win game. The Browns roster has been in some turmoil due to injuries but a lot of players could return in the next week few weeks including Sunday versus the Commanders.
Cleveland listed five players as questionable for Week 5 while ruling out five including RB Nick Chubb for the contest. The Browns designated three for return from a variety of lists this week. Along with Chubb, OL Michael Dunn and RB Nyheim Hines returned to practice this week.
While Hines will join Chubb as out for the game, the team made it official Saturday with Dunn being activated to the 53-man roster. To make room, DE Alex Wright was officially placed on injured reserve with his season-ending injury.
Cleveland elevated two for Sunday’s contest:
The Browns elevated both Brown and Swaim last week as well.
Swaim’s elevation calls into question whether TE David Njoku will be available on Sunday.
We will get the official inactive reports 90 minutes before kickoff on Sunday.
