Vague social media post does not provide context for Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah’s injury
After the Cleveland Browns pulled off a surprising (shocking?) upset over the Baltimore Ravens in Week 8, the positive around the team is at a season-high. The Browns are still just 2-6 but remain, somehow due to poor AFC records, in the playoff hunt.
Cleveland also is slotted for a top 10 selection in the upcoming NFL draft and has a few veterans that could be valued before the NFL trade deadline.
With the offense finding its groove for the first time in 2024, it will be interesting how things are different going forward. Injuries to Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah (JOK) and Denzel Ward could cause problems for the other side of the football.
After getting carted off the field and taken to a hospital, where he stayed overnight, JOK provided his own update on Monday:
A quick search shows that “Alhamdulillah” means “praise be to God.”
Knowing that Owusu-Koramoah is okay is the first step. Given how serious the injury looked, his return to the field is a secondary question at this point.
HC Kevin Stefanski spoke to the media this afternoon and provided a little more information on JOK’s status:
For now, “All is well” is a great sign.
