Nick Chubb’s return from injury not certain in Week 7
The Cleveland Browns are likely to get RB Nick Chubb back on Sunday versus the Cincinnati Bengals. The Week 7 return has been expected but Friday’s injury report will not make that certain. Chubb, who is still on the Physically Unable to Perform list, will be listed as questionable when the final injury report comes out later today.
Chubb’s return, including his emotional letter to the City of Cleveland and the fans, is one of the few things that is exciting for this week’s Battle of Ohio. The Browns have played well against the Bengals over the last few years but both are struggling in 2024.
Prior to practice, HC Kevin Stefanski provided an update on injury designations going into Week 7:

Chubb, Hines and Thornhill would all need to be added back to the 53-man roster to play on Sunday. Stefanski noted that Chubb was likely to play but not Hines:
