The Cleveland Browns face a long list of “must-win” games the rest of the way in the 2024 NFL season unless the 2025 NFL draft is their highest priority. The Browns roster has been decimated by injuries for the second straight season while the team struggles on both sides of the ball including the best defense in 2023 becoming mediocre (or worse) in 2024.
Wednesday, the first practice in advance of their Week 6 matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles, Cleveland had 10 players not participating in practice and a large number of limited players.
Thursday morning brought four more roster moves, the third straight day of multiple changes to the Browns 53-man roster and practice squad.
At the start of Thursday’s practice, we saw four veterans return to practice:
It was noted that CB Denzel Ward, S Grant Delpit, OL Ethan Pocic, OT James Hudson III and S Ronnie Hickman were not participating at the start of practice.
We will have the full injury report later this afternoon with more information from both the Browns and Eagles second practice of Week 6.
