Amari Cooper, David Njoku among those who returned Thursday
When the Cleveland Browns and Philadelphia Eagles matchup in Week 6, it feels like a game between two teams that need a win desperately to keep up with preseason expectations. The Eagles are healthy coming off of their bye week while the Browns continue to lick their wounds (both figuratively with a 1-4 record and dealing with injuries).
Thursday’s prepractice report let us know that a few Browns players would be back on the field for practice. Later Thursday night we found out from Instagram that James Hudson III had successful surgery.
We knew that the expectation was that Philadelphia would get both of their star wide receivers, AJ Brown and DeVonta Smith, back this week and the Eagles remained healthy coming out of the second day of practices for Week 6’s matchup.
Thursday’s injury report did have some improvements for the Browns roster (changes are in bold) with no changes for the home team:
Still a lot of limited players for Cleveland after the second day of practice and a decent number sitting out.
No changes in Philadelphia.
