Amari Cooper also is worth a big bet shot.

The Cleveland Browns are on the road against the Washington Commanders in Week 5 of the 2024 NFL season this Sunday, October 6, at 1:00 pm ET. The Browns are 3-point underdogs against the Commanders, according to FanDuel Sportsbook. Here are my favorite player prop bets from the Browns’ perspective in Week 5.

Browns vs. Commanders: Best NFL player prop bets

Jayden Daniels’ Longest Pass Under 33.5 Yards (-114)

Jayden Daniels has been efficient, but I anticipate a lot more of the short, quick throws to build that completion percentage up, with Cleveland’s secondary continuing to win some battles down the field. Unless a receiver slips a tackle to break a big gain, I like the Browns’ defense to limit Daniels’ longest pass to under 34 yards.

Amari Cooper First Touchdown (+1000)

When Amari Cooper struggled in the first two games, the Browns made a point to get him the ball the following week, including for a touchdown pass on the first play. With Cooper having the big drop last week, but the team still having full confidence in him, I like the odds you’re getting on taking the chance of Cooper striking with the first touchdown of the game.

Jayden Daniels Under 51.5 Yards Rushing (-113)

In four games, Jayden Daniels has rushed for 88, 44, 39, and 47 yards. That means the under would have hit on his rushing yards 3 out of 4 times, and I like Cleveland’s pursuit of the quarterback to keep him under again.
