Myles Garrett, Ethan Pocic, Jedric Wills all participating at a higher level
After trading WR Amari Cooper, the Cleveland Browns have had some positive news for, maybe, the first time all season. It won’t matter if they can’t take out the Cincinnati Bengals in the Battle of Ohio but everything with RB Nick Chubb’s return from injury and the first injury report of the week, the Browns might have things going in the right direction.
The vibes were obvious as Chubb’s Browns teammates cheered for him as he started his press conference. The good news continued when Chubb was listed as a full participant in practice Wednesday. Cincinnati Bengals QB Joe Burrow was also a full participant but continued on the injury report as he has all season.
More positive news came Thursday at practice with OL Ethan Pocic back on the field.
The Battle of Ohio has mostly gone the Browns way during Burrow’s time with DE Myles Garrett causing a lot of problems for the talented quarterback. With Cleveland’s quarterback struggling, the defense might have to win the game with Chubb adding a big boost on the other side.
On to the Thursday injury report with changes listed in bold:
If Pocic is able to play, Cleveland’s offensive line has a much better chance to be successful in Week 7. Garrett and Wills being full participants is also positive.
No changes for Cincinnati on Thursday.
