The Denver Broncos open 1.5-point home underdogs to the Atlanta Falcons in Week 11 with an over/under at 43.5.
The Denver Broncos are going to have to shake off that brutal blocked field goal in Kansas City today, because the road to the playoffs starts now. They will be hosting a surprising Atlanta Falcons team that is sporting a winning record despite losing this week as well.
According to FanDuel, the Broncos will open 1.5-point home underdogs to the Falcons in Week 11. The over/under stands at 43.5 for this matchup.

This line is a bit shocking. Denver coming off a last second block kick to lose on the road to the undefeated defending Super Bowl champions, while the Falcons just dropped a game on the road to the now 3-7 New Orleans Saints where they turned the ball over twice in the fourth quarter while down by three points. That doesn’t quite inspire much confidence in the Atlanta Falcons for me heading into Week 11.
Meanwhile, the Broncos were coming off a 41-10 beatdown in Baltimore and quite literally punched the Kansas City Chiefs in the mouth today. The game came down to three critical moments. The first was a phantom illegal contact penalty against Denver after they had sacked Patrick Mahomes out of field goal range on third down, which led to the Chiefs only touchdown in the game. The second being a brutal drop by Courtland Sutton at halftime that would have secured a field goal. Then, of course, the third being Alex Forsyth getting absolutely bulldozed on the blocked kick that ended the game.
In short, I think Denver is a damn good football team this year and is on the cusp of figuring this thing out. Give me Denver in this game all day.
