Who’s ready for Josh Allen vs. Geno Smith on Sunday?
The Buffalo Bills are back on the road again this Sunday, but this time with a clash against the NFC West Seattle Seahawks. The only other NFC team the Bills have played so far this year was in Week 1. In that game, Josh Allen and the Bills overcame quarterback Kyler Murray and the Arizona Cardinals by a score of 34-28.
With a forecast of gray clouds, rain and wind (typical Seattle weather), both teams are looking to further their leads in their respective divisions. Buffalo (5-2) is several games ahead in the AFC East after having defeated both the New York Jets and Miami Dolphins previously. They’re hoping to continue to see a strong connection between quarterback Josh Allen and newly signed wide receiver Amari Cooper, who contributed a touchdown last week in Buffalo’s win over the Tennessee Titans. Not bad for his first game as a Bill.
The Seahawks (4-3) have a little less room for error as they are just a game ahead of each team in the NFC West. Star wide receiver DK Metcalf has been ruled out with an MCL sprain. It’s a massive loss for the Seahawks, who’ve seen success in part due to the connection between Metcalf and Geno Smith.
