Another game to watch Jim Harbaugh

I don’t know if any of you want to watch a football game after what we just witnessed in the San Francisco 49ers’ atrocious loss to the Seattle Seahawks, but it gives you a chance to check in on a former 49ers coach if you’re so inclined.

Tonight, we have the Los Angeles Chargers hosting the Cincinnati Bengals. The Chargers are 6-3, but they have yet to beat a team with a winning record. If you’re a 49er fan, the football you have seen from the Chargers may remind you of when Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh coached over in the Bay area. Harbaugh has brought everything to the Chargers, including that “Who’s got it better than us?!” warcry. There are some injury hurdles the Chargers have to deal with, the most notable being that linebacker Khalil Mack was declared inactive.

The Bengals have been digging themselves out of their 0-3 start and are now 4-6. If you look at the wins, it’s a similar pattern to the Chargers, except they’ve lost to the New England Patriots, among others. They hung in hard against the Baltimore Ravens last week, losing by a single point. They would have had a shot for overtime, but they failed the two-point conversion in their final touchdown with 38 seconds to go.

FanDuel Sportsbook has the Chargers favored by 1.5 points. I’m inclined to take the Chargers to cover this, but it could go either way. Buyer beware, but I’ll take the Chargers. The Over-Under is set at 48.5. Bet the over on this. This game could eclipse 50 points when it’s all said and done. I can’t say I’m most confident on this either, so again, buyer beware.

Try to get your minds off the 49ers loss any way you know how.
