Some roster moves for the Bears today.

On Tuesday, the Chicago Bears put offensive lineman Bill Murray on injured reserve due to the pectoral injury he suffered against the Washington Commanders. No timetable was provided, but a pec injury is often season-ending. The open roster sport could be used for offensive lineman Larry Borom, who is in his 21-day practice window after his own IR stint.

Yesterday, it was reported that left tackle Braxton Jones would likely miss a game or two due to the knee injury he sustained on Sunday.

There have yet to be any updates on left guard Teven Jenkins, who also left the Washington game with a knee injury, or defensive end Montez Sweat, who had an issue with his shin. Chicago's first injury report of the week will be out tomorrow.

The Bears signed offensive lineman Austen Pleasants to the practice squad today while releasing long snapper Jake McQuaide. Pleasants was on Chicago’s practice squad for about a month last season, and most recently, he was on the Arizona Cardinals practice squad.

The Bears are in Arizona to play the Cardinals this Sunday.

In former Bears news, the Jacksonville Jaguars have signed wide receiver, running back, returner, Velus Jones Jr.
