Chiefs vs. Bills Draws 31.2M Viewers, Most-Watched NFL Game of 2024 Season | Bleacher Report
The NFL announced on Wednesday that Buffalo’s 30-21 win over Kansas City drew a whopping average of 31.2 million viewers, making it the most-watched game of the 2024 season so far:
Austin Karp of Sports Business Journal reported that excluding Thanksgiving and Christmas Day games, the Chiefs vs. Bills game was the most-watched regular-season game since 2007 when a Week 9 game between the New England Patriots and Indianapolis Colts drew 33.8 million viewers.
The Bills handed the back-to-back reigning Super Bowl champion Chiefs their first loss of the season in a back-and-forth battle that will surely boost Buffalo quarterback Josh Allen’s chances to finally take home his first NFL MVP award.
Kansas City Chiefs (-11) at Carolina Panthers
The Chiefs are coming off their first loss to the Bills, while the Panthers are coming off a bye. With the Chiefs losing, their focus will be good. That will matter. They regroup and beat up on a team they are much better than from a talent standpoint. The Chiefs get back on track.
Pick: Chiefs 32, Panthers 13
10 - Patrick Mahomes
Is he taking care of the ball? Not really. The Chiefs’ sluggish offense finally resulted in a loss in Week 11. But his penchant for seizing on late-game opportunities has helped keep K.C. afloat. (-1)
The news that the homes of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and tight end Travis Kelce were burglarized last month was weird. The latest wrinkle in the situation is even weirder.
According to NBC News, the FBI is investigating whether the incidents were part of a “transnational crime ring, such as one from South America.”
The article mentions two other recent burglaries, targeting Milwaukee Bucks forward Bobby Portis and Minnesota Timberwolves guard Mike Conley Jr., whose house was robbed while he attended a Vikings game in September.
Medina, Minnesota police told NBC News that, as part of the Conley case, it is working with other departments from other states that are investigating burglaries at the homes of high-profile individuals.
Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, a former Texas Tech star, reacted to the Red Raiders’ reveal of this week’s uniforms featuring his signature “Gladiator” logo.
