The Cardinals are ready to see their other first round pick in action.

The Arizona Cardinals are finally getting a little help along the defensive line, something they have needed forever.

Darius Robinson has been activated from the injured reserve, there was no corresponding move needed as the Cardinals had already placed Dennis Gardeck on the injured reserve.

Robinson had to be activated by Wednesday, outside of that he would have been done for the season.

Nick Rallis talked expectations:

“I know this isn’t how (Darius) wanted to start his rookie season,” defensive coordinator Nick Rallis said. “I just told him, ‘Just focus on one day at a time and not the long-term of what you wanted for goals at this point. I know you’re going to be a great player.’”

The Cardinals have been beset by injury along the defensive line, losing both Justin Jones and Bilal Nichols for the season, and just in the last week, Roy Lopez missed the Dolphins game and Naquan Jones left injured during the Dolphins game.

What a season.

Let’s hope Darius is ready to go.
