Week 6 has started out poorly for the Browns injury issues with their starting center out, now Ford hurt
As the Cleveland Browns attempt to turn things around at the start of a bad 2024 NFL season, injuries continue to be a problem. The Browns ruled out four starters, including Ethan Pocic, before the start of the Week 6 matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles.
Cleveland also made a big change on the offensive line during warmups.
Then, on the Browns first offensive possession, Pocic’s replacement, Nick Harris, went out with an ankle injury. Harris was ruled out quickly.
On Cleveland’s following possession, another injury hit with RB Jerome Ford limping off the field. Ford went to the blue medical tent first:
The Browns announced that Ford was questionable to return with a hamstring injury. Ford was still in the locker room at the time of the announcement.
D’Onta Foreman and Pierre Strong took snaps at running back after Ford’s departure. Star RB Nick Chubb is expected to make his return in Week 7 and might be needed even more if Ford’s injury is problematic.
