After an ugly finish to the 2023 campaign, with the Philadelphia Eagles getting crushed by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the NFL playoffs, no one knew exactly what to expect from the storied franchise during the 2024 NFL season.
Although there was a lot of uncertainty surrounding this talented team and head coach Nick Sirianni, the Eagles appear to be the real deal after playing well throughout their first nine games, sporting an impressive record of 7-2.
The Eagles are currently riding a five-game win streak following a dominant performance against the division-rival Dallas Cowboys on the road at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
Even though this team has been firing on all cylinders all season long, Philadelphia will face a formidable opponent in Week 11, taking on the division-rival and much-improved Washington Commanders, led by rising star Jayden Daniels.
The Eagles may be favored (-4) coming into this Thursday night showdown in Philadelphia at Lincoln Financial Field, but Steve Wyche of NFL Network argues they have not faced a quarterback like Daniels yet.
“The Eagles have done some great things, but they haven’t faced somebody like Jayden Daniels during their winning streak,” Wyche said.

This matchup between NFC heavyweights will be one of the most anticipated of Week 11, as it will have some NFC East division implications, as one of these two teams will likely be the division title winner at season’s end, meaning this is a massive game for both teams.
Daniels could prove to be the difference if the Eagles can’t figure out a way to contain him, as he has given a lot of opponents problems during his rookie campaign thus far.
